The Little Girl Who Loved to Twirl
BKTwirl: The Little Girl Who Loved to Twirl
A delightful book by Asheville, NC author JeanAnn Taylor and illustrated by Biljana Kroll is sure to become a favorite for little girls everywhere!
- Lily is a little girl who finds herself in trouble from her constant twirling. She twirls and falls into a pond, she knocks over her teacup, and she spills fruit salad all over Miss Holly's dress. When her mother finally takes her to Miss Gigi's ballet class, she learns how to spin like a real ballerina, and everyone is happy! They celebrate by going to Rusty's Ice Cream Shop to have a strawberry ice cream cone. Lily dreams about dancing, and then realizes that she is a dancer!
- Lovely illustrations sure to delight any young readers.
- Dancing has always been an important part of JeanAnn Taylor's life. She began taking ballet as a young girl and remembers twirling around her house while wearing full skirts with crinolines. She continues to pursue her love of dance as a ballet student and ballroom dance competitor. Like Lily, she has an intrinsic need to twirl and can often be found dancing in her kitchen. A passionate dressmaker, JeanAnn also enjoys designing and making clothing. She lives in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with her husband, four chickens, and two orange kitties.
- Makes a unique and special gift this holiday season.
